Statement regarding the Democrat government shutdown:

It is disappointing to see Democrats choose time and time again to vote against funding the government, prioritizing their own liberal wish list over the needs of the American people. I will continue working with my Republican colleagues to reopen the government and fight against Democrats’ attempts to waste your tax dollars on hand outs to illegal aliens or cut massive, unaccountable checks to insurance companies to mask Obamacare’s true costs to the American people.

The dysfunction we’ve seen in Washington is horrible for the American people. The government should never shut down. One of Congress’s basic duties is to fund our government and ensure Americans can rely on the programs and resources they need. That’s why, for years, I have fought to pass my bipartisan No Budget, No Pay Act , which would prevent Members of Congress from receiving taxpayer-funded salaries if they fail to do their job to pass a budget. I’m also working to pass the Prevent Government Shutdowns Act , which would stop harmful government shutdowns and continue operations while forcing Congress to do its job and pass a real budget.

Hypocrite Socialist Silent as Biden/Harris Cut Medicare Advantage

TAMPA, Fla. – Earlier this year, the Biden/Harris Administration announced the dumbfounding decision to cut Medicare Advantage benefits for a second year in a row.

This cut means nearly 3 million Florida seniors, many of whom rely on fixed incomes, are seeing their supplemental benefits slashed by nearly $400 per year. In Florida, where 58% of Medicare beneficiaries are enrolled in Medicare Advantage, this cut hits particularly hard.

Despite lying to voters about Rick Scott’s record, the socialist Biden/Harris endorsed Florida senate candidate Debbie Mucarsel-Powell has supported the decision to cut Medicare Advantage. While supporting a cut to Florida senior’s benefits, Mucarsel-Powell also is supporting increased benefits for illegal aliens in Florida and across the country.

Debbie has made it clear she believes illegals come before Floridians. She will, however, continue lying about Rick Scott’s record until her Senate hopes die a painful death in less than three weeks.

Joe Biden has been waging war on American energy since the day he took office. And only 19% of Americans polled said they are confident that their children will be better off than they are – an all-time low for this poll question. Americans also trust Republicans over Democrats to handle numerous important issues.

It’s not difficult to see why Americans resoundingly disapprove of Joe Biden and Democrats. Prices are sky high, our Southern Border is wide open, there is a land war in Europe, and the Middle East is in chaos. There isn’t much for Americans to be optimistic about under Joe Biden. DMP Remains Silent on Her Party’s Antisemitism

Tampa, FL – Radical Democrats have been spewing antisemitic hatred towards Israel after the horrific terrorist attack by Iran-backed Hamas. They continue to lie about Israel and spread pro-Hamas propaganda. These terrorist sympathizers should be condemned by all. So, why hasn’t Debbie Mucarsel-Powell spoken out against her Democrat colleagues’ antisemitic comments.

The failed Florida Democrat-turned-Senate-candidate commented on many things since the terror attack on Israel. But one thing she hasn’t commented on is the disgusting anti-Israel, pro-Hamas rhetoric from members of her own party.

Senator Scott has been steadfast in condemning all who espouse antisemitic hatred toward Israel. He recently pushed back against Starbucks for not condemning members of their union who posted pro-Hamas statements on social media. He was able to force Starbucks to condemn these terrorist sympathizers as they should have done immediately. Unlike Debbie Mucarsel-Powell, Senator Scott will always push back against those who don’t condemn antisemitism. Whether it’s a member of Congress or a US business, everyone should be held accountable for sympathizing with terrorists like Iran-backed Hamas.

DMP Wants Florida Taxpayers to Pay Off Her Student Loans

Tampa, FL – Failed Congressional Democrat Debbie Mucarsel-Powell is looking for a handout. While she and her husband own a $3 million home, she wants Florida taxpayers to pay off her remaining student loan.

“The Democratic Party’s pick to unseat Florida Sen. Rick Scott (R.) wants taxpayers to cancel her thousands of dollars of student debt. She and her husband own a $3 million house.

That’s nearly three times what former Rep. Debbie Mucarsel-Powell and her husband Robert Powell paid for their Pinecrest, Florida, abode in 2009. The couple dropped $1.15 million on the 4,600-square-foot home, which boasts six bedrooms and five bathrooms, according to Miami-Dade County deeds.

Now, Mucarsel-Powell wants help with her student loan debt, which totals anywhere from $15,001 to $50,000, according to her 2021 financial disclosure. In February 2019, Mucarsel-Powell complained that both she and her husband were still making loan payments.” – Free Beacon

Over 200,000 illegal immigrants were apprehended at the border last month, the highest monthly total all year. But if you ask Joe Biden, the situation at the Southern Border is going “better than expected.”

How much debt do we have to owe before Democrats stop spending Americans’ tax dollars so recklessly? $40 trillion? $50 trillion?

Floridians can’t afford to send any of the Failed Florida Democrats to the Senate. The last thing Floridians need in Washington is a rubber stamp for Biden and Schumer’s tax-and-spend agenda that’s leaving Americans in crippling debt.
